The article aims to present the employability of the graduates of the technical course in Administration at Etec in the state of São Paulo and, also, aims to answer the question about knowing the expectations regarding the filling needs of the jobs offered in the region. The research was based on the literature on the subject, documentary analysis and an electronic questionnaire sent by e-mail to the course's finalists between the years 2014 and 2017. The results presented and discussed were based on the data collected through the interviews applied to 43 students of the course. It was observed that the evaluation of the contribution of the course to its employability is related to the socioeconomic factors of the region and, that the course meets the expectations in relation to its creation and formation, even if it is discreetly, according to the opinion of the students, towards the insertion and replacement in the labor market.
O artigo objetiva apresentar a empregabilidade dos egressos do curso técnico em Administração em ETEC do estado de São Paulo e visa, também, responder à pergunta sobre o atendimento das expectativas com relação às necessidades de preenchimento dos empregos oferecidos na região. A investigação se baseou na literatura acerca do tema, análise documental e em questionário eletrônico enviado por e-mail aos concluintes do curso entre os anos de 2014 e 2017. Os resultados apresentados e discutidos se fundamentaram nos dados coletados por meio das entrevistas aplicadas a 43 ex-alunos. Observou-se que a avalição da contribuição do curso para as suas empregabilidades relaciona-se com os fatores socioeconômicos da região e, que o curso atende às expectativas em relação a sua criação e formação, mesmo sendo discretamente, segundo a opinião dos discentes, no sentido da inserção e recolocação no mercado de trabalho.
