El abogado a lo largo de nuestra historia ha sido un protagonista de primer orden en la construcción de las instituciones de nuestro régimen político y, por supuesto, de las instituciones jurídicas. La formación jurídica le ha permitido a presidentes de la República y a muchas otras personas que han ocupado puestos relevantes, tener la visión y la sabiduría para adoptar decisiones que le han cambiado el rumbo al país. El cultivo de la Ciencia Jurídica deberá seguir acompañando el desarrollo democrático de Costa Rica.
Throughout our history the lawyer has been a main actor in theconstruction of the institutions of the political regime and, of course, of the legalinstitutions themselves.Their legal background, on the other hand, have permitted our Pre-sidents and to many more people, who have accomplished relevant positions,to have the vision and the wisdom to undertake the decisions that have changedthe course of our history in many ways.The cultivation of the Legal Science must be part of the democraticdevelopment of Costa Rica.
