El artículo tiene como objetivo relevar la importancia de configurar lo que las instituciones políticas chilenas, así como latinoamericanas, construyen como riesgos socioambientales. A través de una revisión de las semánticas y narrativas del riesgo, relevamos que los constructos que estas instituciones formulan a través de sus relatos y acciones en diferentes contextos poseen un papel clave. Este rol es relevante, pues las instituciones configuran un marco interpretativo capaz de dar sentido, racionalidad y coherencia a sus relatos para gobernar y comunicar los riesgos socioambientales. Por lo tanto, este marco interpretativo debe estar en sintonía con la ciudadanía.
The article aims to highlight the importance of configuring what Chilean and Latin American institutions build as socio-environmental risks. Through a review of the semantics and narratives of risk, we reveal that the constructs that these institutions formulate through their stories and actions in different contexts play a key role. This role is relevant because the institutions configure an interpretive framework capable of giving meaning, rationality and coherence to their stories to govern and communicate socio-environmental risks. Therefore, this interpretive framework should be in tune with citizenship.
