This article analyzes the implications of early elections on the internet in the current Brazilian context, highlighting the historical evolution of online usability in electoral campaigns, from its origins to current strategies. In addition, the normative innovations and the scenario of electoral practice on the internet are analyzed, especially the challenges and opportunities in the face of regulation and sanctions related to the topic. However, is it possible that the effects of the regulations restrict the right to digital democracy? For this, the research was developed in light of the exploratory deductive methodology, establishing the research through articles and legislation addressed in the electoral context. Finally, the research corroborates the need for effective regulation to ensure fair and transparent elections, promoting the normalization of digital democracy and the electoral process in Brazil.
Este artigo analisa as implicações das eleições antecipadas na internet no contexto atual brasileiro, destacando a evolução histórica da usabilidade online em campanhas eleitorais, desde suas origens até as estratégias atuais. Além disso, são analisadas as inovações normativas e o cenário da prática eleitoral na internet, sobretudo os desafios e oportunidades diante da regulação e das sanções relacionadas ao tema. Todavia, é possível que os efeitos das normativas restrinjam o direito à democracia digital? Para isso, a pesquisa foi elaborada à luz da metodologia dedutiva exploratória, estabelecendo-se a pesquisa através de artigos e legislações tratadas no contexto eleitoral. Por fim, a pesquisa corrobora a necessidade de uma regulação eficaz para garantir eleições justas e transparentes, promovendo a normalização da democracia digital e do processo eleitoral no Brasil.
