El pasado 6 de diciembre de 2023, en España se aprobó el Real Decreto-ley 6/2023, de 19 de diciembre, por el que se aprueban medidas urgentes para la ejecución del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia en materia de servicio público de justicia, función pública, régimen local y mecenazgo. Entre otras cuestiones, dicha norma supone el último intento del legislador español de digitalización de la Administración de Justicia. El objetivo de esta contribución es describir los aspectos más importantes de dicha reforma, con una breve mención a su repercusión en el proceso penal, sus principios y garantías.
On 6 December 2023, Spain passed the Real Decreto-ley 6/2023, of 19 December, approving urgent measures for the implementation of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan for the public service of justice, the civil service, the local system and patronage. This regulation is the latest attempt by the Spanish legislator to digitalize the Administration of Justice. The aim of this contribution is to describe the most significant aspects of this reform, with a brief mentions to its repercussions on the criminal process, its principles and guarantees.
