El lesbofeminicidio es el asesinato de mujeres lesbianas por el hecho de serlo. Este concepto parte la postura feminista que dio origen al término feminicidio en el contexto social y jurídico mexicano, y dialoga con otras autoras que han profundizado en las potencias de tal concepto. Tras la revisión de una veintena de casos se contrastan y revelan patrones que articulan un continnum de violencia lesbofeminicida que resultan en una sumatoria y complejización, que no sustitución, de los riesgos de ser lesbiana en nuestras sociedades latinoamericanas. Los casos acá incluidos parten de la existencia abiertamente lesbiana de las mujeres víctimas de tal violencia, lo cual muestra la dualidad de la existencia lesbiana que al reclamar su legitimidad puede constituirse tanto en una alternativa vital para muchas mujeres como en un riesgo.
Lesbofeminicide is the murder of lesbian women by the fact of being it. This concepto starts from the feminist position that gave origin to the term feminicide in the Mexican social and legal context, and it dialogues with other authors who have deepened in the powers of such concept. After reviewing twenty cases, patterns that articulate a continuum of lesbo-feminicide violence are contrasted and revealed, that results in a summation and complexity, not a substitution, of the risks of being a lesbian in our Latin American societies. The cases included were identified because of the openly lesbian existence of the women victims of such violence, which reveals the duality of the lesbian existence that, by claimig legitimacy, can be both a vital alternative for many women but also into a risk.
