Simbolizada en la ceremonia de apertura de los Juegos Olímpicos de París 2024, reivindicando la decapitación del “antiguo régimen”, la abolición del milenario régimen triestamental propiciada por la Revolución de 1789 y sus aplicaciones posteriores, no ha terminado, sin embargo, con la eliminación completa y definitiva de los respectivos estatutos jurídicos o “privilegios”. A la preeminencia del ethos del pueblo o III estado burgués y a su deriva crematística, característica de la Modernidad, se suman profundos cuestionamientos desde los demás estratos; unos, tratando de consumar la revolución y otros procurando salvar su propio estatus. Este clivaje es el telón de fondo contra el cual se proyectan no pocas tensiones en la legislación política e institucional actual
Symbolized in the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, calling for the decapitation of the “ancien régime,” the abolition of the millennia-old tri-estate regime brought about by the 1789 Revolution and its subsequent applications has not, however, resulted in the complete and definitive elimination of the respective legal statutes or “privileges”. The preeminence of the ethos of the people or the Third Estate, and its chrematistic drift, characteristic of Modernity, are compounded by profound questions from other strata; some seeking to consummate the revolution and others seeking to save their own status. This cleavage is the backdrop against which many tensions are projected in current political and institutional legislation
