El presente artículo quiere desarrollar el concepto de “reactivaciones de la memoria” a través del rol que juega en ellas la imaginación crítica. Primeramente se analizará la nostalgia como una forma de imaginación crítica del pasado, cuestionando la rigidez de la demarcación entre memoria e imaginación. En segundo lugar, se examinarán dos fotolibros: Cartografías silenciadas, de Ana Teresa Ortega, y C-3331/CA-82 de Anna Jornet, a partir de un diálogo con el concepto de fuera de campo en Deleuze y el punctum de Barthes, entre otros. A partir de aquí , interrogaremos los problemas que presenta la cultura del memorial y la fetichización de la historia, para así señalar la importancia de la imaginación crítica, que puede materializarse a través de la nostalgia o la fotografía, en la reactivación de la memoria.
The present article aims to develop the concept of "reactivations of memory" through the role that critical imagination plays in them. In the first place, nostalgia will be analyzed as a form of critical imagination of the past, blurring the boundaries between memory and imagination. Secondly, we will analyse two photobooks: Cartografías silenciadas by Ana Teresa Ortega and C-3331/CA-82 by Anna Jornet, looking for connections with Deleuze's definition of the "out of field" and Barthes' punctum, amongst other concepts. Using the theoretical notes these two examples provide as a starting point, we will explore the issues posed by memorial culture and its fetishization of history, highlighting the importance of critical imagination, which can be materialised through nostalgia and photography, in the reactivation of memory.
