The world has taken an unexpected political turn after the war in Ukraine and the arrival of Donald Trump to the US presidency. We are witnessing an unprecedented boom in military spending leading to a worrying arms race that will be a prelude to more militarism and new conflicts. At the same time, a change in world geopolitics can be perceived, where neoliberalism is being replaced by neo-fascism.
