El presente artículo estudia si en el modelo actual de la legislación estatal, que se inicia en el año 2007, es realmente posible la supresión de las clases de suelo por el legislador urbanístico autonómico. La respuesta a tal interrogante requiere analizar las funciones que ha cumplido dicha clasificación a lo largo de estos últimos 70 años para comprobar si estas funciones las siguen desempeñando hoy las situaciones básicas de suelo. Si esto es así, podremos llegar a la conclusión que clases y situaciones básicas de suelo son exactamente lo mismo
This article studies whether in the current model of state urban planning legislation that began in 2007, the suppression of land classes by the regional urban planning legislator is really possible. The answer to this question requires analyzing the functions that this classification has fulfilled over the last 70 years to verify whether these functions are still performed today by the basic land situations. If this is so, we can conclude that basic land classes and land basic situations are exactly the same.
