En este trabajo investigamos el creciente fenómeno incel, entendiéndolo como un fenómeno específico de este momento histórico de reacción antifeminista, sobre todo en países como Estados Unidos o España. Entrando en foros incel exclusivos analizamos las masculinidades que se originan dentro de la misma comunidad, los discursos que la estructuran y vemos cómo son, al mismo tiempo, masculinidades hegemónicas y enajenadas. Analizamos los fundamentos de estos discursos, para así entender como estos justifican la violencia sobre las mujeres y un sistema social basado en la anulación de la agencia femenina.
In this paper we investigate the growing incel phenomenon, understanding it as a specific phenomenon of this historical moment of anti-feminist reaction, especially in countries such as the United States or Spain. Entering exclusive incel forums we analyze the masculinities that originate within the same community, the discourses that structure it and we see how they are, at the same time, hegemonic and alienated masculinities. We analyze the foundations of these discourses, to understand how they justify violence against women and a social system based on the annulment of female agency.
