    La Ley Orgánica 1/2025 introduce una reforma significativa en la Ley Orgánica del Poder Judicial, creando la Comisión de Supervisión y Control de Protección de Datos dentro del Consejo General del Poder Judicial. Este organismo tiene como finalidad garantizar un control riguroso sobre el tratamiento de datos personales con fines jurisdiccionales, conforme a los principios de legalidad, transparencia y seguridad jurídica. La Comisión, integrada por Vocales del Consejo, actúa como autoridad en la materia y sus decisiones agotan la vía administrativa, siendo recurribles únicamente ante la Sala de lo Contencioso-Administrativo del Tribunal Supremo. Asimismo, se establece la Dirección de Supervisión y Control de Protección de Datos como órgano técnico de apoyo, dotándola de competencias específicas para reforzar la eficacia de este sistema. Este artículo analiza en profundidad los aspectos normativos, organizativos y operativos derivados de esta reforma, resaltando su impacto en la gestión de la protección de datos en el ámbito judicial.

    Organic Law 1/2025 introduces a significant reform to the Organic Law of the Judiciary, establishing the Supervisory and Data Protection Control Commission within the General Council of the Judiciary. This body aims to ensure rigorous oversight of personal data processing for judicial purposes, in compliance with principles of legality, transparency, and legal certainty. The Commission, composed of Council Members, serves as the authority in this domain, with its decisions exhausting the administrative route and being appealable exclusively before the Supreme Court’s Administrative Litigation Chamber. Additionally, the Supervisory and Data Protection Control Directorate is created as a technical support body, endowed with specific competencies to enhance the system's effectiveness. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the regulatory, organizational, and operational aspects stemming from this reform, emphasizing its impact on data protection management within the judicial framework.
