Una de las variables sociolingüísticas habituales en los estudios de disponibilidad léxica es el sexo (o género). En esta ocasión se aborda su estudio en la etapa infantil a partir de los materiales léxicos aportados por 100 escolares de 8 años (tercer curso de educación primaria) de Valencia. El principal propósito es establecer la incidencia de la variable sexo/género en los repertorios del léxico disponible, tal y como se ha realizado con anterioridad en hablantes adolescentes y adultos. Para ello, y con carácter general, se presentan las posibilidades indagatorias que ofrece el reciente programa LexPro en el análisis de los resultados cuantitativos habituales (total palabras, total vocablos, promedios, palabras exclusivas o compartidas entre los grupos e índice de compatibilidad, índice de cohesión, etc.). Asimismo, y desde una posición psicolingüística, se observan datos cruciales para entender la creación de redes semánticas durante la prueba de fluidez categorial (encuesta de disponibilidad léxica) en edades tempranas (propiedades y características de la red de acuerdo con los cálculos de Sigma, Promedio de grado y Modularidad).
One of the common sociolinguistic variables in lexical availability studies is sex (or gender). On this occasion, its study is addressed in the childhood stage based on the lexical materials provided by 100 8-year-old children (third year of basic education) from Valencia. The main purpose is to establish the incidence of the sex/gender variable in the available lexical repertoires, as has been previously done in adolescent and adult speakers. To this end, and in general, the investigative possibilities offered by the recent LexPro program are presented in the analysis of the usual quantitative results (total words, total words, averages, exclusive or shared words between the groups and compatibility index, cohesion, etc.). Likewise, and from a psycholinguistic position, crucial data are observed to understand the creation of semantic networks during the categorical fluency test (lexical availability survey) at early ages (properties and characteristics of the network according to Sigma calculations, average degree and modularity).
