This work analyses the volume Poesia 1979-2004, the main anthology of Pere Rovira’s poetic work that we have today. This collection includes the four books published by the author over 25 years, specified in the title, but with some omissions and remarkable variations. In Poesia 1979-2004, we can appreciate a great effort to select, review and correct. Despite we cannot talk about a real rewriting process —because of the inequality of modifications— we can appreciate, obviously, the stylization of many poems, specially, the poems that belong to Distàncies, Pere Rovira’s first work. The two versions of this collection are remarkable different, not because of the content, but, rather, the tonal aspect. That difference will be the fact which determinate the Poesia 1979-2004 idiosyncrasy, becoming a book with a proper personality and perfectly recognizable.
Aquest treball analitza el volum Poesia 1979-2004, la principal antologia de l’obra poètica de Pere Rovira de què disposem avui dia. El recull inclou els quatre llibres publicats per l’autor en l’espai de vint-i-cinc anys que especifica el títol, però, això sí, amb omissions i variacions remarcables. A Poesia 1979-2004 s’hi observa un esforç important de selecció, revisió i correcció. Tot i que no puguem parlar d’un procés de reescriptura generalitzat —a causa de la desigualtat en les modificacions— sí que podem apreciar una evident estilització de molts poemes i, en especial, dels poemes pertanyents a Distàncies, l’òpera prima de Pere Rovira. Les dues versions d’aquest recull són considerablement distintes, no tan pel que fa al contingut sinó, més aviat, quant a l’aspecte tonal. Aquesta diferència determinarà la idiosincràsia de Poesia 1979-2004, convertint-lo en un llibre amb una personalitat pròpia i perfectament recognoscible.
