El artículo analiza los valores pragmaestilísticos del pretérito imperfecto y pluscuamperfecto en los textos informativos periodísticos desde la perspectiva de la evidencialidad. A partir de un corpus de noticias procedentes de los principales diarios españoles, se ofrecen los resultados en torno a estos tiempos verbales como signos de evidencialidad que contribuyen a determinar la posición del narrador respecto a las fuentes sobre las que se elabora el discurso informativo y al contenido del mensaje. En esta línea, aparecen tres grandes modelos de marcos reproductores centrados en el pasado: el constituido a partir de estructuras vinculadas con el estilo directo e indirecto, el que reproduce un acto de comunicación señalado por una referencia nominal y el que apunta a la vertiente descriptiva frente a la secuencia narrativa dominante.
This article analyses the pragmastylistic values of the imperfect and pluperfect preterite in journalistic news texts from the perspective of evidentiality. Based on a corpus of news items from the main Spanish newspapers, the results are offered in relation to these verb tenses as signs of evidentiality which contribute to determining the narrator's position with respect to the sources on which the informative discourse is based and the content of the message. In this line, three main models of reproductive frameworks centred on the past appear: the one constituted from structures linked to the direct and indirect style, the one that reproduces an act of communication marked by a nominal reference and the one that points to the descriptive aspect as opposed to the dominant narrative sequence.
