En este estudios abordamos la biografía de doña Paula de Esquivias, las dos herencias que nos consta recibió (la de Nicolás Pertusato y la de su hermano, el presbítero Roque de Esquivias) y sus testamentos, por los que conocemos algunas de las obras de arte que poseía y que fueron legadas a diversos monasterios y personas de su entorno. Asimismo, trataremos de los bienes entregados al real monasterio de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y a la iglesia parroquial de Santa María Magdalena de Carranque, en la que había sido bautizada.
In this study, we tackle the biography of Doña Paula de Esquivias, the two inheritances that we know she received (that of Nicolás Pertusato and that of her brother, the prebyster Roque de Esquivias), and her wills, from which we know some of her works of art that were bequeathed to diferents monasteries and people around her. We will also deal with the goods delivered to the royal monastery of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe and to the parish church of Santa María Magdalena de Carranque, where she had been baptized.
