Atendiendo al valor patrimonial del fragmento conservado, la iglesia del conjunto conventual, se aportan nuevos datos sobre la génesis inicial del convento y el proceso de construcción de la iglesia en el siglo XVII. El análisis efectuado se basa en la integración de tres fuentes documentales: la estructura de la propiedad parcelaria, la documentación gráfica asociada a la Junta de Estadística y la revisión de los expedientes conservados en el Archivo Histórico Nacional. A partir de lo ya conocido y de lo aportado por la documentación señalada, se establece un nuevo discurso de interpretación y síntesis sobre el proceso de conformación del conjunto.
In view of the heritage value of the preserved fragment, the church of the convent complex, new data are provided on the initial genesis of the convent and the process of construction of the church in the sevententh century. The analysis carried out is based on the integration of three documentary sources: the structure of the parcel property, the graphic documentation associated with the Statistical Board, and the review of the files preserved in the National Historical Archive. Based on what is already known and what is provided by the aforementioned documentation, a new discourse of interpretation and synthesis is established on the process of conformation of the whole.
