It aims to map the intellectual and disciplinary influences that contributed to the elaboration of the concept of information literacy (letramento informacional) in the field of Library and Information Science, through an analysis of citations from a corpus of works and a curricular biographical study on the Lattes Platform. It identifies that Magda Soares is the most cited author, both in terms of diversity and quantity of works. The most cited works to define the concepts of literacy (letramento) are by authors Magda Soares and Kelley Cristine Gonçalves Dias Gasque. The authors and works linked to the theoretical currents of New Literacy Studies and the New London Group were timidly cited, with the first appearances from 2016 onwards. The areas of Education and Applied Linguistics were the most significantly influential, but the latter was not consciously recognized as an influential area. The mapping confirms the interdisciplinary character of the said field, but highlights the need to strengthen its appropriations through a more in-depth study of its conceptual bases.
Objetiva mapear as influências intelectuais e disciplinares que contribuíram para a elaboração do conceito de letramento informacional no campo da Biblioteconomia e da Ciência da Informação, por meio de uma análise de citações de um corpus de trabalhos e de um estudo de áreas de conhecimento na Plataforma Lattes. Identifica que Magda Soares é a autora mais citada, tanto em diversidade como em quantitativo de obras. As obras mais citadas para definir os conceitos de alfabetização e letramento são das autoras Magda Soares e Kelley Cristine Gonçalves Dias Gasque. As autorias e obras vinculadas às correntes teóricas dos New Literacy Studies e New London Group foram timidamente citadas, sendo as primeiras aparições de 2016 em diante. As áreas de Educação e Linguística Aplicada foram as mais expressivamente influentes, porém esta última não foi conscientemente reconhecida como uma área influente.O mapeamento confirma o caráter interdisciplinar do referido campo, mas evidencia a necessidade de fortalecimento de suas apropriações por meio de um estudo mais aprofundado sobre suas bases conceituais.
