En México, actualmente nos encontramos ante un incremento en la inseguridad en la mayoría del País. Tratando de remediarlo con un proceso de militarización, cuya intervención deberá ser extraordinaria, acreditando su “absoluta necesidad”, y “temporal y solicitada de forma expresa y justificada por la autoridad civil”. Ahora bien, si se debe actuar con el ejército en casos extraordinarios mientras se capacita y profesionalizan a las policías civiles, el uso de la fuerza por parte del Estado debe ser como último recurso y estar dirigido a restablecer el orden público y garantizar la seguridad ciudadana, acorde a los estándares reconocidos nacional e internacionalmente para el uso legítimo de la fuerza por parte de las fuerzas armadas.
In Mexico, we are currently facing an increase in insecurity in most of the country. Trying to remedy it with a process of militarization, whose intervention must be extraordinary, proving its "absolute necessity", and "temporary and requested expressly and justified by the civil authority". However, if it is necessary to act with the army in extraordinary cases while training and professionalizing the civilian police, the use of force by the State must be as a last resort and be aimed at restoring public order and guaranteeing citizen security, in accordance with nationally and internationally recognized standards for the legitimate use of force by the armed forces.
