Los nuevos avances tecnológicos en la educación superior afectan a toda la sociedad y la profesión contable y de auditoría no se queda atrás; por tanto, los estudiantes deben contar con las competencias profesionales adecuadas para responder a las necesidades del mundo laboral. A partir de ello, en la carrera de Contabilidad y Auditoría de la UTPL, los estudiantes interactuaron con herramientas tecnológicas contables (LUCA) y de auditoría (ACL) durante su formación académica. El trabajo de investigación tuvo como finalidad, analizar las competencias digitales que desarrollan los estudiantes universitarios por la inclusión de herramientas tecnológicas contables y de auditoría en la formación como contador – auditor. La investigación fue de tipo descriptivo con un diseño no experimental transversal y enfoque cuantitativo. Los datos se obtuvieron a través de un cuestionario bajo escala de Likert y aplicado a 35 estudiantes de modalidad presencial. Los resultados reflejaron que, el desarrollo competencias digitales en los estudiantes será mayor cuando se incorporan herramientas tecnológicas durante su carrera universitaria.
The new technological advances in higher education affect the whole of society and the accounting and auditing profession is not far behind; therefore, students must have the appropriate professional skills to respond to the needs of the world of work. From this, in the UTPL Accounting and Auditing career, students interacted with technological accounting (LUCA) and auditing (ACL) tools during their academic training. The purpose of the research work was to analyze the digital skills developed by university students by including accounting and auditing technological tools in training as an accountant - auditor. The research was descriptive with a non- experimental cross-sectional design and a quantitative approach. The data was obtained through a questionnaire under the Likert scale and applied to 35 students of face-to-face modality. The results reflected that the development of digital skills in students will be greater when technological tools are incorporated during their university career
