Esta investigación, de carácter teórico, realiza una revisión sistemática de algunos elementos básicos que relacionan el crecimiento verde con el turismo, con el propósito de reflexionar sobre la inferencia de las ecoinnovaciones y su contribución al cumplimiento de las directrices del crecimiento verde, el cual destaca las áreas de oportunidad y ventajas que brindarían a la naturaleza y a los sectores social y empresarial. Sobre la base de este análisis, que se desprende de la revisión de la literatura, se presentan una serie de recomendaciones para coadyuvar al desarrollo del sector turístico, en específico al sector hotelero, con el fin de fortalecer su competitividad y salvaguardar la herencia ecológica común.
The present research, of a theoretical nature, performs a systematic review of some basic elements of the relationship between green growth and tourism, with the purpose of reflecting on the inference of eco innovations and their contribution to compliance with the green growth guidelines, which stands out the areas of opportunity and advantages that they would offer to nature and to the social and business sectors. Based on this analysis, that follows from the review of the literature, this study presents a series of recommendations for the development of the tourism sector, in order to strengthen its competitiveness and safeguard the common ecological heritage.
