A Systematic Review of China’s Media Image Based on Database Retrieval

  • A systematic review is a sort of review to locate, select and synthesizes all relevant evidence to a problem to avoid bias. By following a strict flow work of PRISMA, systematic reviews respond to their research issues by assessing the reliability and validity of all relevant data. This article is to give a systematic review of studies on China’s media image based on the SCOPUS and ProQuest database (2010-2020). Research method is a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis in terms of media type, research method, applied theory and research findings. Analysis and comment from multiple aspects are provided to reveal the status quo and development of China’s media image, which is expected to provide reference and assistance for a better understanding of China’s holistic global media image and promote further researches in this field.
