The particularity of rural culture determines the necessity of resident participation in rural tourism. The rural cultural atmosphere contained in rural tourism can simultaneously meet people’s rural tourism needs, which is the main driving force for the rise of rural tourism. In response to some problems in the construction of rural tourism culture from the perspective of residents’ participation in China, it is necessary to explore rural cultural resources, strengthen the image shaping and promotion of rural tourism products. Promote the inheritance and dissemination of traditional rural culture, and highlight the cultural characteristics of rural tourism products. Emphasize the regional characteristics of rural tourism industry and strengthen the strong image of rural culture. Through the relationship between rural tourism planning and rural landscape planning from the perspective of residents’ participation, we can learn from management, institutional economics and other “stakeholder” theories. Research has shown that from the perspective of combining theory with practice, the typical development models of leisure agriculture in China have been systematically summarized. And proposed the basic conditions and applications of feasible experiences such as high-tech leadership and new rural construction based on agricultural experience. Research has shown that targeted spatial optimization strategies for residents’ participation perspectives have been proposed, aiming to improve the research content of leisure agriculture, optimize the spatial layout of leisure agriculture, and ultimately achieve the goal of improving the quality and level of China’s leisure agriculture business model.
