With the development of digital library technology, parallel database system has become the main tool for efficient information processing in the digital library system. Based on this, the computer cluster parallel environment is taken as the basis to make coordination machine, collecting machine and query processing machine enable to complete the operation of distribution, load and maintenance through a coordination machine controlling communication in parallel environment, which has high efficiency and save much precious time, supports the digital library to meet user requirements effectively, meets the digital library’s performance requirements for data and also key problem in parallel algorithm has solved. The experimental results show that this parallel technique has very good performance.
