From a digital perspective, visual communication plays an increasingly important role in product packaging design. Virtual reality technology allows consumers to experience the visual effect of product packaging through Headmounted display and other devices. This technology can provide consumers with a richer experience, while also providing designers with more creativity and expression methods. Interactive packaging refers to the use of technical support such as QR codes and NFC tags on the packaging to enable consumers to interact with the product. For example, consumers can obtain product information, participate in lottery draws, or interact with brands by scanning QR codes. This paper studies the application of ant colony optimization algorithm in visual product packaging design under the “Internet plus” mode, and proposes a packaging design model based on Ant colony optimization algorithms. This model can meet the needs of different visual Products packaging design schemes based on the sales data and other characteristics of existing visual Products, and can intelligently predict design schemes. Finally, the experimental results indicate that the visual product packaging precise prediction model designed using ant colony optimization algorithm can effectively predict the packaging needs of customer based visual product groups, and can track two intelligent discriminations based on ant colony optimization algorithm. This has achieved a new breakthrough in the packaging design mode of visual products with Chinese characteristics.
