En últimos años se ha dado mayor relevancia a la independencia, protección y papel de la mujer en la sociedad, principalmente en cómo la misma mujer puede dar garantía de su propia protección. Por tanto, este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar las tendencias investigativas en el comportamiento y la defensa personal en mujeres, a partir de un análisis bibliométrico. Entre los principales resultados se encontró que, si bien no existe una tendencia creciente o decreciente respecto a publicaciones en el tema, la discusión si ha iniciado hace varios años y se ha encontrado marcada principalmente por aspectos psicológicos ocasionados desde la violencia intrafamiliar. Como conclusión principal resalta el hecho de que las investigadoras referentes en el tema sean mujeres. También resalta que recientemente se han desarrollo investigaciones respecto a la defensa personal de la mujer no solo desde técnicas de defensa física sino también desde la defensa de acoso virtual.
In recent years, greater importance has been given to the independence, protection, and role of women in society, mainly in how the same woman can guarantee her own protection. Therefore, this article aims to identify research trends in behavior and self-defense in women, based on a bibliometric analysis.
Among the main results, it was found that, although there is no increasing or decreasing trend regarding publications on the subject, the discussion has started several years ago and has been found to be marked mainly by psychological aspects caused by intrafamily violence. The main conclusion highlights the fact that the leading researchers on the subject are women. It also highlights that research has recently been carried out regarding the self-defense of women, not only from physical defense techniques but also from the defense of virtual harassment.
