La investigación tuvo como objetivo caracterizar el uso de herramientas de la industria 4.0 por parte del personal directivo y gerencial en empresas manufactureras de la ciudad de Mexicali, por lo que ha sido importante elaborar evaluaciones del uso de las principales tecnologías como lo son el uso de internet de las cosas (IoT), la Inteligencia Artificial, el Computo en la Nube, el Machine Learning y el Big Data. La metodología aplicada fue cuasi-experimental con un enfoque longitudinal descriptivo mixto por encuesta. Para realizar el análisis se utilizó el análisis ANOVA. Entre los principales resultados se demuestra que en un incremento entre el 70% al 90% en la productividad y calidad evaluando si es de importancia el uso de las herramientas tecnológicas en la industria de Mexicali.
The problem in manufacturing companies in the city of Mexicali on the way to industry 4.0 has generated some resistance from the executive and managerial staff, so it has been important to prepare evaluations of the use of the main industry 4.0 tools as They are the use of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning and Big Data.
Among the main results, it is shown that there is an increase between 70% and 90% in productivity and quality, evaluating whether the use of industry 4.0 tools in the Mexicali industry is important, using the ANOVA analysis.
