In the realm of leadership behavior research, modest leadership has gained popularity as a novel supporting leadership style. Research on its efficacy is still very scarce, nevertheless. Since R&D employees are the backbone of corporate innovation, they must operate with a greater degree of independence and self-actualization. Consequently, there is a greater impact of modest leadership conduct on the inventiveness of research and development staff. On the basis of summarizing and researching related research at home and abroad, the research and development personnel of energy are selected as the research object, the data is collected by questionnaire and the statistical analysis of sample data is carried out by using SPSS 20.0 software, exploring the relationship between humble leadership, positive emotions and employee creativity. The analysis shows that the influence of humble leaders on the positive emotions of R&D personnel and the impact of positive emotions on the creativity of R&D personnel.
