With the rapid increase of data information and the change of aesthetic concept, visual communication design of art needs to spend more time and energy to complete various tasks. Based on this, this paper proposes the application of artificial intelligence auxiliary technology to the visual communication design of fine arts. This paper first briefly analyzes the current situation of the research of artificial intelligence technology at home and abroad, and then puts forward that in the design of visual communication of fine arts, the auxiliary technology of artificial intelligence can be applied to every module, from information retrieval to the final scheme display. In the process of information search, in view of the possible mistakes and omissions in multi-source data retrieval, a multi-source data acquisition method based on data quality is proposed.
