La constante y vertiginosa evolución del Internet ha originado lo que se conoce como web descentralizada y/o web simbiótica que se apoya en variadas herramientas tecnológicas como lo son el blockchain, los espacios virtuales y los activos digitales, aspectos que han logrado una masa crítica de participación en redes en línea que brindan transparencia global, gobernanza, distribución, participación, colaboración en comunidades clave como la industria, política y social. Por lo tanto, la tecnología ha requerido un cambio de paradigma hacia sistemas descentralizados propiedad de creadores y usuarios, circunstancia de la cual no escapa el sector de la educación, donde también ha ocurrido una adaptación constante con tendencia a seguir un camino evolutivo. Esta influencia tecnológica ha obligado a las instituciones educativas a plantear procesos de enseñanza que igualen lo que está sucediendo con el Internet, con el fin de ayudar a los estudiantes a funcionar, aprender, trabajar y jugar de una manera saludable, interactiva y prosocial en las sociedades. Esto ha planteado como uno de los principales retos a los que se enfrenta la educación el dar respuesta a la necesidad ineludible de actualizar y mejorar las competencias de cada vez un mayor número de personas en todos los aspectos de la vida, lo cual incluye cambios importantes en el objetivo tradicional de formar a los estudiantes. La presente revisión bibliográfica tiene por objetivo analizar la influencia de la evolución de la web en los procesos educativos actuales, considerando los principales cambios que han ocurrido desde la aparición del Internet, destacando información de expertos y organizaciones especializadas en el área de la tecnología educativa.
The constant and dizzying evolution of the Internet has given rise to what is known as the decentralized web and/or symbiotic web that is supported by various technological tools such as blockchain, virtual spaces and digital assets, aspects that have achieved a critical mass of participation in online networks that provide global transparency, governance, distribution, participation, collaboration in key communities such as industry, politics and society. Therefore, technology has required a paradigm shift towards decentralized systems owned by creators and users, a circumstance from which the education sector does not escape, where a constant adaptation has also occurred with a tendency to follow an evolutionary path. This technological influence has forced educational institutions to propose teaching processes that match what is happening with the Internet, in order to help students function, learn, work and play in a healthy, interactive and prosocial way in the societies. The foregoing has raised as one of the main challenges faced by education to respond to the unavoidable need to update and improve the skills of an increasing number of people in all aspects of life, which includes changes important in the traditional objective of educating students. The objective of this bibliographic review is to analyze the influence of the evolution of the web in current educational processes, considering the main changes that have occurred since the appearance of the Internet, highlighting information from experts and specialized organizations in the area of educational technology.
