El presente texto trata el carácter religioso que vertebra el orden social en el que se encuentra integrado el ser humano. Si bien una de las características más notables de la edad contemporánea es la secularización de los relatos religiosos, los movimientos políticos de masas, así como las creencias y anhelos que tenemos, continúan rigiéndose por una concatenación de ideas religiosas. Eric Voegelin nos recuerda que la vida en sociedad se encuentra dentro de un marco de vivencias que el ser humano tiene sobre el mundo y sobre las deidades, de ahí que las "religiones políticas" no hayan podido romper con la idea de trascendencia.
The present text deals with the religious character that vertebrates the social order in which the human being is integrated. Although one of the most notable characteristics of the contemporary age is the secularization of religious narratives, mass political movements, as well as the beliefs and longings we have, continue to be governed by a concatenation of religious ideas. Eric Voegelin reminds us that life in society is found within a framework of experiences that human beings have about the world and the deities, hence "political religions" have not been able to break with the idea of transcendence.
