Este artículo aborda el marco global de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), y lo conecta con las ciencias jurídicas como herramientas estratégicas para su implementación. Para ello, se realiza un análisis detallado de las normas legales y políticas públicas regionales que facilitan la alineación de los ODS con la realidad jurídica y social de la Comunitat Valenciana. Entre los principales hallazgos, se destaca que las ciencias jurídicas no solo proporcionan un marco normativo indispensable para regular las acciones hacia la sostenibilidad, sino que también promueven la coordinación entre los distintos niveles de gobierno, garantizan la participación ciudadana y aseguran mecanismos de rendición de cuentas.
This article addresses the global framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and connects it with the legal sciences as strategic tools for their implementation. To this end, a detailed analysis of the regional legal norms and public policies that facilitate the alignment of the SDGs with the legal and social reality of the Valencian Community is carried out. Among the main findings, it is highlighted that legal sciences not only provide an indispensable normative framework to regulate actions towards sustainability, but also promote coordination between different levels of government, guarantee citizen participation and ensure accountability mechanisms.
