El presente trabajo tiene como objeto principal analizar el contexto de las elecciones al Parlamento Europeo de junio de 2024 y, específicamente, los retos, los desafíos y las «amenazas» que sobre ellas se ciernen: polarización, uso de nuevas tecnologías, injerencias… Por otra parte, se estudian también las medidas adoptadas por las Instituciones de la UE a fin afrontarlos.
The main aim of this paper is to analyse the context of the elections to the European Parliament in June 2024 and, specifically, the stakes, challenges and «threats» that are looming: polarisation, use of new technologies, interference, etc. It also looks at the measures adopted by the EU institutions to tackle them.
