Este estudio presenta un análisis DAFO exhaustivo de la ruta turística del Clúster del Agave en Tehuacán. El objetivo de este estudio es proporcionar una evaluación integral de la ruta turística del Clúster del Agave, identificando factores críticos que influyen en su éxito y proponiendo estrategias para su mejora. Se empleó un enfoque cualitativo, basado en la revisión documental y entrevistas semiestructuradas a actores clave del sector turístico local. El análisis revela diversas fortalezas, como la rica tradición y cultura asociada al agave, así como la reconocida calidad del mezcal producido en la región. Sin embargo, se identifican debilidades en infraestructura turística y promoción efectiva. Se destacan oportunidades como la diversificación de productos turísticos, el enfoque en prácticas sostenibles y alianzas estratégicas. Se señalan amenazas, incluida la competencia regional y cambios en regulaciones. La ruta turística del Clúster del Agave presenta un potencial promisorio, pero requiere una inversión significativa en infraestructura y promoción.
This study presents a comprehensive SWOT analysis of the Agave Cluster tourism route in Tehuacan. The objective of this study is to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the Agave Cluster tourism route, identifying critical factors that influence its success and proposing strategies for its improvement. A qualitative approach was used, based on documentary review and semi-structured interviews with key actors in the local tourism sector. The analysis reveals several strengths, such as the rich tradition and culture associated with agave, as well as the recognized quality of the Mezcal produced in the region. However, weaknesses are identified in tourism infrastructure and effective promotion. Opportunities are highlighted, such as the diversification of tourism products, the focus on sustainable practices and strategic alliances. Threats are noted, including regional competition and changes in regulations. The Agave Cluster tourism route shows promising potential, but requires significant investment in infrastructure and promotion.
