Democratic transition in Mexico has been characterized for being the result of several institutional adjustments, different from the other regions’ regimes. In this article, the composition of the current three-party system, as well as the changes in the authority of the Federal Executive Branch are analyzed. Lastly, the state of the political culture in the country is examined.
